Introduction

For most of my life, I’ve been keeping other people safe whilst dancing on the edge of risk myself. I’ve travelled the world as an international safety & performance consultant, worked with many industry-leading organisations and helped thousands of people from all walks of life stay safe and optimise their productivity. I’ve lived on five different continents and explored a lot of this world, walked on fire, jumped out of planes, ridden bobsleighs and motorbikes at breakneck speeds, swam with sharks, climbed mountains and active volcanoes, taken plant medicine in the jungle, come face-to-face with pirates in the Congo, barely avoided being thrown in jail in Libya, trained entrepreneurs in North Korea and even sent flowers to Chairman Kim Jong-un in a gesture of peace. I have dedicated my life to curiosity and play, and it has been one heck of a ride to date! Whilst it’s been amazing, the constant travel and living out of a suitcase eventually took its toll though and I had a first-hand experience of total mental, physical and emotional burnout. Since that time, my life has been about balance and discovering how one can maintain an accomplished professional career without it having a detrimental impact on other areas of life. I became a walking experiment and tried out any type of therapies, methodology or technique I could find to help me be the best sustainable version of me. The years of personal experimentation and research in biohacking, neuroscience, behavioural design and psychology is what lead to the birth of Wellbeing, Daily, so we can help others with tools and strategies to better manage their wellbeing and not have to reach burnout in their careers. THIS IS WHAT I BELIEVE IN: ✅ Wellbeing is not linear, it’s holistic ✅ It doesn’t have to be drastic – small changes that compound over time is what works ✅ There is a direct link with wellbeing to engagement, productivity and retention ✅ Work / life balance is ultimately about energy management ✅ Safety, both physical and psychological, is foundational to performance So that is a bit about me.
