Introduction

Since leaving the UK military in 2005 for the private security sector, I have developed a deep passion for security risk management. My experience is formed by working on security projects as a consultant & auditor around the World. After involvement in a number of complex ambush attacks as both a team member and personal protection officer, in 2008 I developed an obsessive interest in leadership & decision making. This widened my interest from security to risk management & today I support many companies in multiple disciplines over numerous industries. Since 2008 I have studied health & safety risk management & since been a health & safety manager & consultant for international organisations. As a Fellow of IOSH & Chartered Quality Professional (CQI), both disciplines feature highly in my approach to risk management. Experience of working across industries guides my decision making, following the principles of risk management within the areas of health, safety, security, environmental and quality.
