The Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership is an integrated organization in Edinburgh that combines the planning and delivery of various community health and social care services. These services include care for adults and older people, support for individuals with disabilities, mental health assistance, and services for homelessness and substance misuse. The partnership is managed by the Edinburgh Integration Joint Board and employs over 5,000 dedicated professionals from the City of Edinburgh Council and NHS Lothian. These professionals work across health centers, GP practices, community hospitals, care homes, nursing homes, and communities throughout the city. The team focuses on providing care and support for individuals with mental health issues, long-term physical conditions, and substance misuse problems. With an integrated executive leadership and senior management team, the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership operates through four localities and collaborates closely with charities, the third sector, independent health and social care providers, and contractors. They place a high value on their mission, values, and strategic vision, all of which are dedicated to the wellbeing and support of the community.
