The London Health and Safety Group (LHSG) is a registered charity established over 75 years ago, dedicated to promoting safety and health in London and its surrounding areas. Serving a diverse membership from public and private organizations, including central and local government, commercial entities, and specialist consultants, LHSG welcomes both full-time Health and Safety specialists and other professionals with an interest in the field, such as Facilities, Personnel, and Quality Managers. LHSG hosts monthly meetings from September to May, featuring guest speakers who share insights on current health and safety topics. These sessions provide valuable opportunities for learning, professional development (contributing to IOSH CPD hours), and networking with peers. The group aims to keep members updated on new concepts and pending government regulations, fostering a community dedicated to best practices. As an independent group managed by an Executive Committee, LHSG maintains contact with national bodies like the HSE and RoSPA, ensuring relevance and informed discussion. They strive to be the friendliest safety group, offering a platform for continuous learning and professional connection.
