About
Manchester Safety Training is led by Steve Brooks. He has more than 30 years as an operational firefighter with Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, including four years as a Community Fire Safety Officer and fifteen years at a city-centre station.
The firm provides fire safety in the home, fire warden training, first aid training, fire extinguisher maintenance, servicing and installation in Greater Manchester, bonfire and firework safety sessions, and fire risk assessments. Courses can be delivered on the client’s premises and tailored to the group. Delegates receive an attendance certificate.
Steve’s published qualifications include a CIEH Professional Training Certificate, Level 3 BTEC Award in PTTLLS, a road safety diploma, BTEC Immediate Trauma Care, a current First Aid at Work certificate, Level 2 health and safety in the workplace, and Stage 1+2 H&S Rep. He is a member of the Children’s Safety Education Coalition and is involved with Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
