SEQOHS, established in 2010, is a distinguished authority dedicated to setting and maintaining the standards for occupational health services in the UK. With the mission to deliver Safe, Effective, Quality Occupational Health Services, SEQOHS offers an accredited framework that ensures providers meet rigorous benchmarks for performance and practice. Inspired by Dame Carol Black’s pivotal review on the health of Britain’s working-age population, SEQOHS has become the industry standard for occupational health.
The organization oversees the accreditation process, having developed its standards in collaboration with the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM). These standards are regularly updated, with the latest revisions implemented in November 2023, reflecting current legislation and best practices. Currently, SEQOHS boasts 189 accredited services and supports an additional 114 working towards achieving accreditation. Employers, employees, and service providers can engage with SEQOHS to enhance their health services and ensure compliance with the highest professional standards, thereby fostering healthier workplaces across the country.
