WildfireTaC, founded by seasoned professional Andy Elliott, is a specialized Wildfire Training and Consultancy business born out of a lifelong passion for understanding wildfires. With a career spanning over several decades in both Local Government and the Fire and Rescue Service, Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field. His extensive background includes working as a Countryside Ranger, a Geographical Information Systems Manager, and currently serving as a Station Commander in Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.

WildfireTaC offers a range of services including training for wildland firefighting, consultancy on wildfire management, and research collaborations, notably with the University of Exeter. Andy has gained invaluable insights through his experiences in wildfire research across the UK, Europe, and South Africa, participating in significant wildfires such as the Valley Fire in California. His expertise not only helps enhance operational tactics but also addresses the evolving risks of wildfires in the face of climate change, particularly in vulnerable regions like Dorset.
